What our Docents do: Every Sunday for two hours, our Docents are important stewards of the River Mouth who have the opportunity to engage the public and their paw-sitivley best friends. Our Docents get their feet sandy while speaking to beachgoers about the San Diego River Mouth and its importance.
Register for the two-part training now taking place on Nov 8th and Nov 10th
- Friday, November 8th from 5:30-6:30 pm, we’ll meet via Zoom to go over the program in detail
- Sunday, November 10th from 12:00-1 PM, we'll meet at Ocean Beach- Dog Beach to go through a mock docent shift together and local flora and fauna
About the Friday, November 8th Training:
- In this engaging 1-hour training session, you'll embark on a journey to become a knowledgeable and passionate docent for the San Diego River Mouth program. We aim to educate the Ocean Beach community and enhance the appreciation of the unique habitat surrounding the San Diego River Mouth.
