Summary
Description
Join San Diego Bird Alliance for a habitat restoration event at Emory Cove, located along the Silver Strand! This coastal sage scrub habitat is home to numerous bird species who forage, rest and reside in the very plants we'll be adding. You may even catch a glimpse of Floyd and Barbie, Emory Cove's famous free-roaming flamingos.
We will be planting native plants, so come prepared in closed-toed shoes and field clothing. A reusable water bottle and sun gear is also recommended. We will provide the gloves, tools, snacks and water.
Park at the Bayshore Bikeway Parking Lot, and then walk along the bike path to the work site (about 10 minutes)
