Summary

Help restore habitat for birds and other wildlife!

Description

Join San Diego Bird Alliance for a habitat restoration event at the Tijuana Slough, part of the Tijuana River watershed! This coastal sage scrub habitat is home to numerous bird species who forage, rest and reside in the very plants we'll be adding.

We will be planting native plants, so come prepared in closed-toed shoes and field clothing. A reusable water bottle and sun gear is also recommended. We will provide the gloves, tools, snacks and water.

Park at the Tijuana Estuary Visitor's Center, and then walk along the path to the work site (about 5 minutes)
