Description
Have you ever wondered what wildlife lives in the Kendall Frost Marsh?
Usually we would have birding this Saturday, but we have a special guest! Join us this Saturday for a Wander the Wetlands led by Martha Rodriguez!
Learn more about Martha Rodriguez:
Every 2nd Saturday of the Month activities alternate between bird outings and fish seining, both are great opportunities to learn what lives in the marsh!
More about Bird Walks (for the future)
On birding days, educational docents will be on hand to share fascinating insights about the marsh’s birds, wetlands, and ongoing restoration efforts through the ReWild Mission Bay project. Spotting scopes and binoculars will be available for you to use as we search for resident and migratory bird species in this protected habitat.
Whether you're a seasoned bird watcher or simply curious about the marsh's natural history, this is a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature right in the heart of San Diego. Discover the rich natural history of the marsh, learn about the birds that call it home, and take in the extraordinary sights of this vital ecosystem.
