Join us for a volunteer work party to help the wetlands in Mission Bay!
Nature lovers, bird enthusiasts, and everyone interested in learning more about the habitat existing in the heart of San Diego are welcome! Learn about the Ridgway's Rails at Kendall-Frost Marsh. Take in the extraordinary sights found only in protected habitats like this one. Activities vary for each event and include trash pick up, invasive plant removal, and more.
No registration required—just show up ready to help! Please bring close-toed shoes, sun protection, and water. Tools and gloves will be provided, and you're always welcome to enjoy some bird watching during the event.

Important Notes:
- Age: This event is recommended for participants ages 10 and up.
- Accessibility: The terrain varies and may include gravel, concrete, dirt, rocky, and muddy areas. Expect to travel a short distance from the street parking to the meeting point depending on parking availability and navigate uneven terrain once at the field station.
