Description
Join San Diego Bird Alliance for a vegetation monitoring event at 10th St!
You may have already helped with the restoration of this coastal sage scrub habitat. Now it is time to measure the success of our work by measuring diversity and abundance of native and invasive species. We will be using vegetation surveying methods that are replicated across the county, so this opportunity is a great resume builder! No experience is necessary.
We will be working outside amongst the vegetation, so come prepared in closed-toed shoes and long pants. A reusable water bottle and sun gear is also recommended. We will provide all of the tools, snacks and water.
Park near Bayside Elementary School, and then walk along the bike path to the work site.
