Summary
Description
Famosa Slough is a unique wetlands habitat in the middle of an urban area. This habitat sees many challenges and yet it supports over 30 species of birds this time of year, from Shorebirds and Passerine species to Raptors and Waterfowl. This month we will be planting native plants in several habitats. Join us for as long or as little as you would like. Feel free to bring your binoculars to enjoy the wildlife that depend on the Slough!
What to bring: Refillable water bottle, close-toed shoes, appropriate weather attire, hat and sunscreen
What is provided: All necessary tools, water and snacks

Free parking in the nearest neighborhood. Street sweeping on the South side of W Point Loma Blvd until 10am. Free parking on the North side.
