Summary
Description
During this maintenance event with Friends of Rose Creek we will be removing invasive species, potentially watering new, planted native plants and learning about the riparian habitat. More than 30 species of birds depend on this space during this time of year. Help us provide healthy biodiversity to support all the wildlife in the area. This event would be part of Border BioBlitz, so come prepared with your Phone to help us document everything we see.
What is a BioBlitz? National Geographic defines a BioBlitz as “an event that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area over a short period of time.” Many BioBlitz events will be taking place in April and May – check out the rest of the event calendar to see more locations!
