We are so back!! The trailhead at the canyon's Nature Center has been closed since last November. Be one of the first to see all that has changed, all that has stayed, and what birds will come back around first.
Tecolote Canyon is one of several protected urban canyons in the San Diego area that support native plant communities and associated bird life. Birds that are here for the entire year include hawks, Anna’s Hummingbird, California Thrasher, House Wren, Wrentit, and both California and Spotted Towhees. You can never tell what you may see. Easy walking. Restrooms at the trailhead.
Registration required. Capacity 15 attendees.
While registration for this trip is free, your donations help make unique trips like these possible and help us protect the region's birds and unique bidiversity. Please donate or consider becoming a member for the full year!
