Summary
Description
Burrowing Owl Restoration Party at OVRP
Celebrate Latino Conservation Week with us by joining a Restoration Party in the Otay Valley Regional Park! This site is home to resident Burrowing Owls, a threatened species recently added for consideration to the endangered species list. We will be removing invasive weeds to clear space for the owls and allow them to continue in this site.
The site location is within the Otay Valley Regional Park. This is a sensitive site, so detailed directions will be shared only after registration. All supplies will be provided including tools, gloves, water and snacks, but come prepared in a hat and closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle.
This free, family-friendly event is open to all ages—come explore, learn, and make a difference!
