Summary
Description
We’re getting a head start on February’s work at Anstine with a trail cleanup. This Saturday, we will be moving fallen palm fronds and branches to the front of the preserve to clean up the trails and reduce fire risk.
Palm fronds can block trails and take a long time to decompose, so we’ll be moving them to the front of the preserve to reduce fire risk and keep our trails safe and enjoyable for everyone. Plus, the branches we collect will help build up our mulch piles, which maintain trails and keep plants healthy and hydrated.
It’s a hands-on way to make a real difference for the preserve, get some fresh air, and connect with fellow volunteers.
No experience needed! Just bring your energy and a love for nature! 🌿
