San Diego Bird Alliance proudly presents... another Queer Birding Outing!
These hikes are a safe space for all LGBTQ+IA and all allies. In this space, we expect everyone to be respectful of identity and chosen pronouns. Pronouns: What and Why
Join us for a nature walk that is for all people who seek a non-judgemental community, where we celebrate diversity among birds and birders.
Enjoy the sunset above the shoreline in this lovely natural park. This will be an easy, laid-back birding walk to end the day with a beautiful sunset over Point Loma.
Along the trail you can enjoy plenty of beautiful coastal sage scrub as well as views across the ocean to the horizon. We can expect to many see seabirds, including gulls, terns, pelicans, and cormorants. The sage scrub also attracts sparrows, towhees, and warblers along with many of the usual backyard birds. This trail is a San Diego favorite - expect to share the trail (and parking space!) with many others.
