Summary
Description

Join San Diego Bird Alliance, Coastkeeper and Canyonlands for a habitat restoration event in Otay Valley Regional Park! We will plant 100 native riparian plants, including narrowleaf milkweed! This native plant is the host plant for monarch butterflies, and they depend on it for their reproductive life cycle. Other nectar-producing plants will be added to enhance the habitat for monarchs and other pollinators.
Come prepared in closed-toed shoes and field clothing, and bring a reusable water bottle. Sun protection is always recommended. We will provide the gloves, tools, snacks and water.
