Queer Hike & Pride Celebration at Rohr Park

San Diego Bird Alliance proudly presents... a special Queer Hike and Pride Celebration!!

These hikes are a safe space for all LGBTQIA+ persons. In this space, we expect everyone to be respectful of identity and chosen pronouns. Pronouns: What and Why

Join us for a nature walk that is for all people who seek a non-judgemental community, where we celebrate diversity among birds and birders. Our monthly Queer Hikes event will be extra special this pride month! Our participants will be invited to stay after the hike to picnic, game, and celebrate each other. 

Bring a snack and drink, and a chair or blanket - if you would like, bring some extras to share. PLEASE do not bring any NUTS as one of our leaders has a sensitivity. (No alcohol is allowed in the park! Keep your drinks PG please ) 

Location Details:

We will meet at Rohr Park in the larger lot (use Gate C to access the correct lot). The trail is wide and flat, easily wheelchair accessible on a mix of packed crushed stone and concrete. The trail is mostly sunny with occasional shade. Plentiful parking, bathrooms, and water fountains available.
