Help us share appreciation for nature, provide guidance for keeping dogs on leash, and connect with community members and their furry companions.

Description

Join the San Diego Bird Alliance to learn how to become a docent and support our outreach program, Imperial Beach BARK Ranger!

Imperial Beach is a nesting habitat for endangered birds! By joining this community education program, you will help to protect this critical habitat. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with local conservation, connect with the community, share your passion for nature, and educate people on the importance of keeping dogs on leash.

No prior knowledge is necessary, just a willingness to learn!

🐶 Docent Activities:

Docents will share their appreciation for nature, provide guidance for keeping dogs on leash, and connect with community members and their furry companions. Dogs that participate will make a paw oath and receive a bandana to show their commitment to protecting local wildlife (photos below).
