Summary
Description
Can’t make it out to Anstine on a Saturday? Join us for some light stewardship projects that help care for the preserve and its native habitats.
These volunteer mornings may include hand-pulling invasive species and other small projects around the preserve. Whether you can stay for a short time or the whole morning, every bit of help makes a difference.
After volunteering, participants are welcome to explore the trails on their own or with the Preserve Coordinator. ID books and binoculars will be available to borrow.
Some plants we encounter may have bristles so long sleeves and pants are recommended, gloves will be provided.
This is an opportunity to spend time outdoors, support the preserve, and become part of an ongoing community helping care for Anstine.
No experience needed! Just bring your energy and a love for nature! 🌿
