Summary

Join us and Friends of Rose Creek for a sunset bird outing in the salt marsh and riparian habitat. This free, guided outing includes: binoculars to borrow, migratory birds and a chance to learn about these important habitats.

Description

 

This free, guided, sunset bird outing led by Kyle will take place in the evening from 5:30pm to 7:30pm where we will explore the birding hot spot in the north east corner of Mission Bay. Rose Creek is home to resident birds and provides an important space for migrating birds. 

Please meet us in the faculty parking lot of Mission Bay High on the east side of the school, adjacent to Grand Avenue overlooking the creek. 

Do NOT turn on Lee St. 

What to bring: binoculars if you have them, clothing layers, refillable water bottles and comfortable walking shoes.  

If the registration for this event is closed when you sign up - Please feel free to attend the event regardless
