Summary
Join us at Otay Valley Regional Park for a habitat restoration event that will help protect this important watershed.
Description
During this restoration event we will be removing invasive species near Fenton Pond, specifically targeting those that are impacting the native milkweed and other native plant species. During this event we will promote watershed education by looking at the impacts of pollution, invasive plants, ecosystems and the historical uses of this area. Please join us for this event to help create a healthier watershed!
We will be meeting at the Otay Valley Regional Park Ranger Station at 2155 Beyer Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92154 32°35'16.3"N, -117°04'19.5"W
What to bring: Refillable water bottle, close-toed shoes, weather appropriate attire, hat and sunscreen
What is provided: All necessary tools, snacks and water
