Join Us for a Ridgway's Rail-themed Wander the Wetlands!
Bird Outing
- Bird Walk: Take a morning stroll with us as we stroll through the pathways and look for birds. Get your E-Bird and Merlin App ready and take in the sights and sounds of the Marsh. Learn more about the current conservation work being done at the Kendall-Frost Marsh. We provide binoculars, bird guides, and fun! Be prepared to walk on dirt, concrete, and sand
Every 2nd Saturday of the Month activities alternate between bird walks and fish seining, both are great opportunities to learn what lives in the marsh! No registration is required.
Nature lovers, bird enthusiasts, and everyone interested in learning more about the habitat existing in the heart of our city are welcome! Learn about the Ridgway's Rails at Kendall-Frost Marsh and discover the natural history and restoration progress in Mission Bay. Take in the extraordinary sights found only in protected habitats like this one.
Bring: Weather-appropriate attire and water, binoculars for birding
We will be meeting at the southern end of Crown Point Park near the dirt lot.
