Description
Join us for a volunteer work party to help the wetlands in Mission Bay!
Activities vary each event and include trash pick up, invasive plant removal and more.. Registration is not required, just show up prepared with close-toed shoes, sun protection and water.
Educational docents are available to answer your questions about all things wetlands, birds and ReWild Mission Bay. Tools and gloves will be available to use. And of course, you're always welcome to bird during this time.
While the new research and educational center is under construction, we will be meeting at the northern end of Crown Point Park near the dirt lot.

This is a partnership project between UC San Diego Natural Reserve System and San Diego Audubon Society.
UCSD interns, SDAS Assistants and Wander the Wetlands visitors will gather, inventory, and appropriately stage all the existing Ridgway's Rail raft materials in preparation for their later deployment.
No registration required.
Nature lovers, bird enthusiasts and anyone interested in learning more about the habitat existing in the heart of our city are welcome! Learn about the Ridgway's Rails at Kendall-Frost Marsh. Take in the extraordinary sights found only in protected habitats like this one.
