Photography Stroll at San Diego Bird Festival

Meet us in the Field, with Fujifilm & Micheli Oliver!

Join the Fujifilm Flock out in the field, with Photographer Micheli Oliver as she guides us on a fulfilled field excursion on a search to witness and create beautiful bird images in their natural habitats. Fujifilm Techs and gear will be available so you can ask questions and try the latest and greatest Fujifilm GFX/X Series cameras, long zooms lens and Fujinon binoculars. The first 15 attendees to arrive will receive some free Fuji swag!

The group will meet in the Exhibit Hall at the Bird Festival (1936 Quivira Way, the Bayview Room at Marina Village Conference Center.

Micheli Oliver is a photographer, filmmaker and human rights activist. Her hope is to facilitate connection with the world we all come from and to help folx fall in love with the land we must protect. She centers BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ voices in all that they do and works to create intentional safe space for honest and joyful storytelling. She looks for loud voices that refuse to be silenced, both human and more-than-humans, to paint a story with their light box. When Oliver picks up her camera she wields it with compassion, consent and reciprocity understanding the importance of autonomy in personal story. Everything Oliver does is to bring humans back to a relationship with the land and to uplift voices so often unheard.

Oliver has worked as the still photographer on  "Spirit of the Peaks" by WonderCamp and "Who Is a Runner" by Camp4Collective. Their photo and writing work is published in Backcountry Magazine, Powder Magazine, Freeskier Magazine, Sisu Magazine and has been featured with Fujifilm, Patagonia, Hydroflask, Solomon, Backcountry, REI and more.
