Description
San Diego and the border eco-region is a biodiversity hotspot! Ready to help us celebrate and document all living things through this community science project?
We will be joining the international Border Bioblitz to observe and document plants, birds, and more!
We encourage you to bring a smartphone and have the iNaturalist App downloaded, but if you are having trouble, do not panic, we will be guiding participants through the process.
Plus we'll be sharing the importance of native plants and make native seed balls together!
Registration is helpful but not required. You may still show up to participate if registration has come to a close.
Please bring water and the appropriate weather attire. We will provide binoculars and a spotting scope for attendees to use.
Meet at the Otay Valley Regional Ranger Station located at 2155 Beyer Blvd, San Diego, CA, 92154. Please be aware that Apple Maps will often direct you to an alternate location.
