Summary
Description
Join our SDBA Bird Photo Club for a photo stroll!
Apr 19, 7 am to 9 am: Torrey Pines State Reserve
The purpose of these strolls is to foster a community of individuals who enjoy the combination of bird watching and bird photography. Our hope is that we can all improve our bird photography skills by learning from each other and teaching others.
Our walks typically last 2-3 hours. Although we will watch for any of many different birds, this is potentially a great time to see Peregrine Falcons nesting in the Torrey Pines cliffs. Depending on the latest reports on the falcon activity, participants will be able to choose to walk on Torrey Pines State Beach, or to hike up to the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. If you’re interested in learning and/or teaching about bird photography, please join us and bring the photography gear you’re most comfortable using. Cellphones are welcome!
We will meet at the South Beach Parking Lot. 12600 N Torrey Pines Road, San Diego, CA 92037
Parking passes will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis to those who RSVP.
This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required at https://www.torreypines.org/event/tp-photostroll2
Join us for the rest of the season with these walks!
